Marco is a forward looking senior executive who blends extensive media industry experience
with deep market insights and has always believed in the power of storytelling to educate and
mobilize. He has helped keep media companies at the forefront of content and platform
innovation, audience engagement, and value creation. He has had the pleasure and honor of
working with two significant mentors throughout his career, the renowned environmentalist
and activist Robert Redford (through the Sundance Film Festival and Sundance TV) as well
as political reformer and environmental protectionist, US Senator Alan Cranston (both in the
US Senate and at the Gorbachev Foundation)
As Founder and Managing Partner of Screen+, Marco consults to a number of media clients
primarily launching FAST Channels or standalone SVOD services. Marco is currently also a
partner of Planet Positive Ventures which is a venture capital think tank and investment
advisory firm founded by industry veterans to address humanity’s most pressing needs and its
symbiotic existence with Nature. He has led or advised a number of boards from CTAM
Europe to the Aegean Film Festival. He has cultivated a truly international network that
stretches across industries and geographic regions.

Built and led a multinational content business for AMC Networks that was central in
the growth of annual international distribution revenue from less than $60M in 2009
to $644M in 2019. Scaled business from 8 to 1,200 ex-USA based employees to
drive exponential growth.
Transformed ESPN’s standalone EMEA venture from a startup with no distribution to
+50M monthly subscribers in more than 55 countries.
Grew early-stage Insight TV’s premium content business from 10M to +150M US
households with a focus on millennial and Gen Z audiences
Key driver of strategic initiatives visible at the C-suite and board level, including due
diligence and post-acquisition integration of international partners including North
American Sports Network, Kinowelt, and Chellomedia (acquisitions ranged in size
from $45M – $1B)
